his new series of candleholders evolved from a reflection on the Brief Encounter series in colour.
From the premise of how to create patterns without adding colour, I experimented with the properties of the material itself. With less material added, I wanted to bring a sustainable design one step closer.
Through polishing and matting in different degrees, I was able to create patterns, resulting in subtle appearances to be discovered by the viewer.
