Stripewise

Inspired by the pure geometry of the rectangle, I explored how subtle shifts in shape, material and colour could create something both functional and playful. This led to the design of a side table constructed from folded aluminium, making it both lightweight and strong. Only two different components are required within the design to assemble the table. Its folded corners naturally form the legs, lifting the surface, preventing wear, and giving the piece a light, floating appearance.
