Description
Brief Encounter’ is the name of this series of candlesticks. It is one of the first designs I made from steel. The opportunity to work in a very well-studded metal workshop allowed me to finally realise designs I had in my mind for a long time. And there they are !
The name refers to the incidental touch between the two tubes.
The series of candlesticks is also one of the first designs where I work with colour. Very fun to do and also very insightful. Because how colour relates to a shape is always different from what I initially thought. It was trial and error.
As you can see, they are all different. This forces the viewer to really think about which one really suits him and his home.
